Storage & Serving Suggestions

How to Store

Store borscht soup in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 4 days. Let the soup cool completely before refrigerating.

Can You Freeze Borscht?

Yes. Freeze borscht in freezer-safe containers for up to 3 months. Thaw overnight in the fridge and reheat gently on the stove.

Best Way to Reheat

Reheat borscht in a pot over medium-low heat until warm. Add a splash of broth or water if the soup thickens too much in the fridge.

What to Serve With It

Serve with sour cream, Greek yogurt, fresh dill, crusty bread, rye bread, garlic bread, boiled potatoes, roasted chicken, grilled sausage, cucumber salad, or a simple green salad.
