Storage & Make-Ahead Tips

How to Store

Store leftover creamy garlic chicken tortellini in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days.

How to Reheat

Reheat gently on the stove over low heat or in the microwave in short intervals. Add a splash of broth, milk, or cream to bring the sauce back to a creamy texture.

Can You Freeze It?

Freezing is not ideal because cream sauce and tortellini can change texture after thawing. For best results, enjoy fresh or refrigerated leftovers.

What to Serve With It

Serve with garlic bread, Caesar salad, roasted broccoli, asparagus, green beans, cucumber tomato salad, roasted zucchini, or a simple side salad.

Use refrigerated tortellini for the fastest cooking time. If using frozen tortellini, add a few extra minutes and simmer gently until tender. Add broth as needed if the sauce thickens too much.
