Ingredients
- 1 pie crust
- 1 large bunch Swiss chard, chopped
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1/2 onion, diced
- 3 eggs
- 1 cup milk or half-and-half
- 1 cup shredded cheese
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- Pinch of nutmeg, optional
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F.
- Place pie crust in a pie dish.
- Cook onion in olive oil until soft.
- Add Swiss chard and cook until wilted. Let cool slightly.
- Whisk eggs, milk, salt, pepper, and nutmeg.
- Add chard mixture and cheese to the crust.
- Pour egg mixture over the filling.
- Bake for 35 to 40 minutes until set.
